...on my way home that I wish I'd been quick enough or brave enough to take a photo of but didn't:
1. Woman driving BMW down cobbled pedestrian street wearing a pink bathroom towel on her head
2. Long-haired hippy looking gaijin guy riding bicycle down aforementioned street wearing PJs with kittens on them
[at this point I'm thinking there has been a gas explosion and people have been unexpectedly evacuated from their homes]
3. A mother and (so obviously mother complex-ridden) son dog-walking combo (which I also incidentally spotted on my way to work this morning)
4. Environmentally friendly, bicycle-riding father and school-uniformed daughter combo (or at least I hope she was his daughter). He was riding, she was sitting on the back. She was at least 14 years old.
5. Train ad for "Climax Bargain" - the summer sales are on 'case you are wondering.
I also noted that due to a recent freak crime wave in nearby train stations (a mugging, a stabbing and a shooting - the only way you knew that you were still actually living in Japan was by the fact that the trains reportedly ran on time throughout the carnage), we now have two guards positioned at my local station. Reassuring except for the fact that I could probably single-handedly beat both of them up. If I wanted to, like.
